The HYDRAULIC CRANE was invented in the city of Newcastle, England by William Armstrong in the year 1845. The initial conception was created to mobilize the enormous sacks and cargo blocks that reached the docks.
This type of cranes can be too simple thanks to their design because they are able to perform complex tasks. In just minutes, these machines have the ability to form beams on highways, raise all types of machinery and materials on construction sites and even build homes.
For its operation, most of these hydraulic machines use some fluid type to generate their movement and develop their tasks within the work.
The hydraulic system is simple and works at the moment when a piston pushes down the oil and this takes all the force towards the piston.
It is important to mention that most cranes use a system of gears to push the hydraulic oil. At the time of prompting the increase in pressure, the operator presses the accelerator pedal to operate the pump and it runs its operation much faster. In the gear pump, it is the only way that there is high pressure with the engine in full power.
Depending on the pistons, these can be extended or reduced, depending on the utility of the crane, since they are connected to a system of levers and can be used to lift very heavy loads.

TYPES OF HYDRAULIC CRANES
- All terrain cranes:
They are giant cranes with robust mass and mobile capacity that manage to access and work in areas of difficult access, they dominate all types of surface since they use caterpillars instead of tires.

The crane has two types of controls to maneuver the load:
Joysticks: There are two in the cabin. The first controls the movement from left to right of the arm and the second controls the movement back and forth.
Pedals: are responsible for retracting and extending the telescopic sections of the pen. They are also responsible for controlling the amount of pressure emanating from the pump.
Lifting equipment
The joysticks and pedals are connected in hydraulic hoses that connect other hydraulic cylinders to the valves.
This valve is connected to the hydraulic pump by means of a third hose that is placed between the other two hoses that are directed towards the hydraulic piston.
By pushing a joystick in one direction, the valve blocks one of the hydraulic hoses that direct the ram and open another.
The way in which the joystick is pushed marks whether the piston in the hydraulic ram moves in or out. The valve also allows the operator to control the hydraulic pistons.
